Our
forums will act as our bug tracking system. There are several
topics which are only available to beta testers, in which
you will post your bug reports. This will enable us to talk
to you about the problems you've discovered, and to share
screenshots, crash logs etc.
We
have 3 classes of bugs, with one topic for each class. Introversion
team members will be free to move bug reports between topics
if they believe a bug has been incorrectly classified. Once
bugs are dealt with, the thread will be closed. Please do
your best to search the bug forums for existing reports of
the bugs you find, to avoid duplicate reports. Please create
one topic per bug found, rather than reporting all the bugs
you've experienced in a single thread.

In
order to help us track down Class A bugs, Darwinia will try
to dump a file called "blackbox.txt" whenever a
crash occurs. This file contains information about your system
setup, the options you were running the game with, and a trace
of what Darwinia was doing when it crashed. It will really
help us if you could paste the contents of that file into
your posts when you experience Class A bugs.
Failing
that, a screenshot and description of exactly what went wrong
will help us out a great deal.
Beta
testers who consistently submit excellent quality bug reports
and actively help us track down errors will be selected by
hand for phase 2, in which they will be able to test the full
game.
